April 5th, 2009SPRINGFIELD — Tucked between a Chinese restaurant and a tutoring agency in a Delaware County shopping center is a new tenant offering a service not typically found in such a commercial setting.
Any Lab Test Now is in the business of collecting blood and other body fluid samples for medical laboratory tests.
The low-cost service is geared toward individuals who lack health insurance, have coverage plans that carry high deductibles or want extra tests not covered by their insurance policy.
“We’re cheaper because we accept cash only,” said Jeff Goldberg, 45, a Yeadon native who opened the franchise last month. “We don’t accept insurance. That cuts out a lot of the bureaucracy expenses.”
